What to expect

During a microneedling treatment at INLIV, a numbing solution will be applied to your face and then the microneedling will begin shortly using the eDermaStamp moving in a circular motion. Typically, you will experience no pain or discomfort during your treatment, though you may feel a light scratching sensation.

When the treatment is complete, you will be given a hyaluronic acid mask to wear for 20 minutes and an additional one to use at home that evening. Your skin may appear slightly red or have a sensation similar to a mild sunburn, and it is recommended to avoid wearing makeup for 24 hours. Individual results may vary.

How it works

Microneedling is a cosmetic procedure where micro-needles reach beyond the skin’s epidermis into the dermis, causing pin-point bleeding. The pin-points trigger the body’s spontaneous healing response and within minutes the perforation channels close and healing begins.

During this time when collagen and elastin form, it is leaving skin noticeably thicker, more supple and younger looking. Duration of a treatment is typically an hour, but can be longer or shorter depending on the area being treated. Microneedling is safe for all skin types.
