Dr. Brendan Gracias

Dr. Brendan Gracias was raised in Edmonton, Alberta and moved to Calgary in 2020 after completing his family medicine residency in Saskatchewan. His medical training and residency involved being part of underserved communities in the United States and Saskatchewan. After residency, he completed a two-year rural locum in various small towns in Northern Saskatchewan. This provided him with the opportunity to experience rural medicine and enhance his acute care skills.

Since moving to Calgary, he has been able to focus on what he loves the most in medicine – primary prevention through family medicine. In his free time, Dr. Gracias enjoys cooking healthy meals and trying new recipes. He likes to spend much of his time outdoors with his wife, new baby, and dog. Living in Calgary also allows him to visit the mountains as often as he can.
